Villagers in southeastern Cameroon take a blood sample from a duiker (antelope) they have killed. The collection of animal and human blood samples will help virologists detect and prevent the transferral of deadly pathogens from animals to humans. Leading the effort is Nathan Wolfe, Director of the Global Virus Forecasting Initiative (GVFI). (Cameroon village names: Ngoila, Messok, Mesock, Zoulabot)
